The use of a small inductive heating system such as the eldec HFG 10 igbt is practical for the purpose of preheating for welding or brazing. The cable outlet of the generator permits the coaxial transformer to be positioned as desired in the argon welding booth. This allows optimum working in the welding chamber for diverse workpiece shapes. Any overheating is prevented by the additional use of a pyrometer, which prevents the set setpoint temperature from being exceeded.
System description:
Preheating of components for mainly welding tasks in various production areas is performed using our inductive heating systems such as the type eldec HFG 10 igbt with 10 kW continuous output power for overlay welding or brazing of turbine blades.
Larger components such as molds in the glass industry also require a larger amount of power. Systems such as the eldec MFG 70 with 70 kW or higher continuous output power have proven themselves here.
