Two inductive heating systems are used for the inductive brazing process on tube heater elements used on the previous page. Both systems work synchronously. An eldec HFG 3 with single ring inductor is used for brazing in each of the upper 8-mm-thick VA pipes. On the respective lower brazing point, nested 25-mm VA pipes are brazed with an eldec HFG 10 igbt with folding inductor. Power is controlled pyrometrically for both generators. In other words, the generators approach the setpoint temperature at maximum power and the power is then reduced to prevent the setpoint temperature from being exceeded. The filler-metal wire is fed during this period.
