1982   Schwenk GmbH Induktorbau founded by Dipl. Ing. Wolfgang
           Schwenk. Schwenk GmbH develops and manufactures inductors
           and begins to sell inductive generators from ELVA (Nor).

1993   Schwenk GmbH becomes eldec. Delivery of the first high-frequency
           and medium-frequency generators developed by eldec.          

1998   Company renamed to “eldec Schwenk Induction GmbH”, and
           founding of eldec Induction USA. eldec employs 30 people
           and has an annual turnover of approx €4.2 million.

2000   Delivery of the first  SDF® generators.

2004   Delivery of a hardening system with a 1 MW SDF® generator.

2006   Completion of a hardening system with a 3 MW SDF® generator.

2008   The SDF®  technology continues to win market share. eldec
           employs 110 people and has an annual turnover of approx.
           €16 million.

2009   eldec launched a sales and service office in China.
           Introduction of the MIH product line for mobile heating.
